Not sure how I missed this from back before Christmas, but it's certainly been a fun time waster for today. I live for political cartoons but manage to miss a lot of them somehow. So this is like being let loose in a candy store as a toddler.

An outstanding political cartoon (David Low's superb artistic observation on the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of August 1939 still stands the test of time) speaks not just to its own era with acerbic, barbed, and ironic wit, but can be understood as relevant political commentary decades, or even centuries, later.

Anyway, I am a fan of political cartoons, also.

In fact, as a student, I used to sketch political cartoons for university publications.
