Buying a company that operates clinics. I wonder how medical professionals feel about the inevitable take-over of health care by the Silicon Valley tech bros. It’s an industry that is ripe for it… it’s such a pain finding a primary care physician, jumping through hoops to see specialists, dealing with insurance, etc. My kid had a bad tummy ache when she was very little, and we got bills from people who must have just passed her in the hallway for a year afterward.

My kid had a bad tummy ache when she was very little, and we got bills from people who must have just passed her in the hallway for a year afterward.

My wife's FORMER chiropractor pushed her to let him bill her insurance even though she was happy to pay as she went. She finally relented. Then he hired some random doctor and when she was there, he would pop his head in the room and ask how she was. She would say fine and think he was just being nice.

Turns out he was billing her for a medical consult every time he talked to her. :(
