The student from Victoria arrived in Honolulu to learn that his itinerary was prohibited: travelers entering the US and then continuing on may only be bound for a country that does not border the US. I wonder how he booked the flights? If you do it all on one site, like Delta or Expedia for example, it’d be nice if there’s an auto warning telling you your itinerary has a legal issue.
