Just read Bezos is donating $100 million each to 2 people on CNN to do with as they please, no expectations or strings attached. I don’t know anything about the 2 people. I’m sure others do but I can only assume they are known for fighting for justice and equality. But being cynical, I also see this as a potential greed trap, like if all of a sudden they got a new yacht which would only cost a tiny percentage of the total money they just inherited. Then the media and Bezos can go “See, even these social justice heroes can’t help themselves when they come into an ungodly amount of money. So stop judging the rich!” But maybe that’s just how I see it.
