A California surfing school owner who was charged with killing his two children in Mexico is a follower of QAnon and Illuminati conspiracy theories who thought the children "were going to grow into monsters so he had to kill them," federal officials alleged.

Matthew Taylor Coleman, 40, was charged Wednesday with foreign murder of U.S. nationals in connection with the death of his 2-year-old son and his 10-month-old daughter, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California. Authorities said Coleman confessed to the killings and told the FBI that he used a spear fishing gun to stab them.

A criminal complaint alleges that he told the FBI that he killed his children because he believed they "were going to grow into monsters" and that conspiracy theories led him to believe that his wife had passed down her "serpent DNA" to the children.

This is what the shitheads who spread this crap don't get; this is more than just riling folk up - there are some extremely mentally unstable people (even politicians) who'll take these lies to extremes and then lives are at risk.

People of all political persuasions do stupid things. But this whole saga with the far-right, beginning with decades of dog-whistling, which morphed into the Tea Party and conspiracies surrounding Obama, finally reaching a fever pitch with Orange Dipshit Donald Trump is a sight to behold. These people are in a rabbit hole that smells like a sewer. From worshipping a man who’s an empty abyss of any actual conservative values or human decency (or brains), to believing any and every lie they’re told, to risking their own health and the health of others, shitting on the Capitol police who protected their lives….

Is it a sense of community these people feel? That can be pretty strong no matter the reason that joins them, whether it’s scrapbooking or believing Hilary Clinton is cooking baby stew for dinner.

And you can’t reach them, because there’s an explanation for EVERYTHING with these folks. The argument just shifts accordingly. This guy wasn’t a deranged lunatic who killed his kids, he was a patriot trying to deport illegals when he was stopped by deep state Clinton affiliates.

They lie about the election. The lies spread, but when Dominion will sue these folks (and hopefully win), that will be further proof to them that it’s a conspiracy to silence the truth. You just. Can’t. Win.

Back to reality, the amount of derangement it takes to even comprehend such a grizzly crime is, well, incomprehensible. QAnon or just an asshole, it’s insane. Makes you question a lot about life when you hear such horrible news.
