I like that I can filter by my, umm, particular proclivities ...

Wait, we __are__ talking about PornHub, right?

Wait, it doesn't automatically suggest for you based on past viewing?

I have...um...been told...um yeah we'll go with that answer...that it's smart enough to do that. So I've heard at least, strictly second hand.

Wait, what? Sending a PM

Excellent, I'll respond with a personal photo ... ;)

Trying to backdoor yourself into a mod position? šŸ˜…

The diy/home improvement thread has been interesting - the smaller audience here will make it harder to get the variety of input we had/have there.

I swear I've never seen such long running threads as in the Community Discussion forum, some still get daily activity years after being posted.

Yep... for example, @Gutwrench launched the "What's on your mind" thread over there one day as a kind of catch-all for posts one might otherwise not find a home for or that might not feel new-thread-worthy. Don't know how long he expected it to keep going, but it's somewhere north of 450 pages now and only three years old...

Naturally as most of my dings over there were for going off topic, I homed in on a thread that was deemed topic-less from the get-go by the thread creator! I'll always be grateful to him for that thread, no matter we sometimes failed to see eye to eye on things more along PRSI lines. I guess he's gone from MR now but I wish he'd pop back in here even if only in the non-political threads.

I've been posting my photos on reddit for years, every now and then I'll get 1K or 2K likes on one but this thing's gotten 4.5K, unbelievable lol. Hilarious sub though, one of my favorite on the entire site.
I made front page once....deleted my account. It had like 2K responses and it would have been a full-time experience reviewing all the stuff said. No thanks.

This is gold man, I posted it to the SuddenlyGay sub on Reddit

I assume there were lots of posts about the Little Nas X performance on SNL last weekend, because, umm, yeah ...

Agree completely about @Gutwrench's "What's On Your Mind?" thread on MR.

And agree also with you that I'd love to see @Gutwrench drop by here, again, and am sorry to see him gone from MR.

Anyway, that thread was, and is, a lovely, catch-all for posts, a gentle, meandering thread, one which allowed for gentle chat, jokes, tales, commentary on life, and anything and everything about life, love, laughter, liberty, memory, shared sorrow, and trials, tribulations, and troubles.

A terrific thread, one where everyone could find a home, if only fleetingly.

Been a while since anything good has come from MR, but this thread is quite interesting:
