While I support their reporting, their general hostility towards others has become hard to watch for me. They often berate those they're interviewing and talk down to them, I've seen this for both Democrats and Republicans alike. I dislike how Chuck Todd plays politics but as an interviewer he always shows his guests respect.

wow. great to hear an opinion on this. appreciated hearing it.
the issue with all things trump admin is how to deal with their lies.
you need to remember that it took a full 2 years before ANY of the major networks would even use the word "lie" to refer to r/trump lies.

Wolf is a little past shelf life.
i appreciate his career and thus i am respective of his longevity on the network.
to me, his abilities are as a news reporter first and only, not an analyst, not as some sort of investigative journalist.
haven't noticed disrespectful treating of guests. but could imagine he tries to stay relevant by his attempts to pummel guests on blatantly non-factual stances.

Chuck is worthless to anyone who has access to an iPhone with any news app.
should not have access to valuable MSNBC time. should stay on CNN or whatever else he is on.
he is able to get onto his show r and trump apologists. i want to hear their arguments but i can get them from news flashes.

Jake has gotten the courage to challenge and outright shut down lies he hears from guests.
i don't know what title he holds but to me he is an analyst/commentator and that's what i like.
he does try to inject sanity into discussions, and that's what you are picking up on
an analyst should never give guests a platform for lies.

my entire stance about (especially) CNN news is epitomised in the Christiane Amanpour tag line:
‘I Believe in Being Truthful, Not Neutral"

the way that Savannah challenged trump was beautiful for me to see how a mainstream and intelligent person can interact with a powerful man in a way that makes the issues real for the American people. she spoke truth to power.

as i said above, i think yr original post has a chance to become a general thread about Media and Reporting Coverage.
thanks.

...Personally, I like Nicolle Wallace and Rachael Maddow...

i like them too.

in order of my daily-most-looked-forward-to MSNBC is in this order.

1 rachel because she and her team are the best investigative television news journalists on the planet
2 joe (without mika) because he is a nice guy and was one of the very first to so publicly denounce trump repeatedly (every day really)
3 nicolle because she is humble and mainstream. god bless her. she's really a d but just doesnt know it
4 lawrence because he is a socialist - a pure democratic socialist. really appreciate his unadulterated clarity
5 brian because he allows his wit to become viewable and allows events to have a human-level base
6 ari because he carved out a space that plays well to his legal background and enables perspectives based on legal issues

7 joy second to last due to i don't trust her yet totally. she's always pushing something. i don't want to be led around blindly.
8 chris last due to i don't get anything from listening to him. he's passionate but not informative

i do however need to listen to all them via the web browser since there is no way (even with VPN) that i can hear them live.
so that's how i get to listen to rachel early in my afternoon. and joe at night.

That seems like such a shame. Can you use something like Tunein? I listen using SiriusXM, but that may not work for you even with a VPN.
