Wow, I say go for it. If you've ever seen him debate Republicans he owns them, keeps his head cool, sticks to the issues, is funny/engaging and smart.

We definitely need someone of his intellect in office.

Interestingly I was listening to his latest podcast this morning and he was praising Ukraine's Zelenskyy and how he also came from a comic background. That's definitely an extreme example that shows that somebody with that background can shift into politics and be far from, well, a joke.

He would be great. I’m still annoyed that Al Franken was forced out. Another great example of comedy in politics.

They have what all Republics are missing at this point: a sense of humor and a sense of empathy.

Just as important of a discussion, how did the Congress become 49.5% dingbats? I hope I’m wrong but there is an excellent chance by my perspective that at the end of the year they will own Congress again and we will be closer to being fucked than not.
