Lots of talk today on National Public Radio about Labor Day, the Labor Movement and why average Americans struggle and wonder what they have done wrong. According to a Economics Professor, the issue is A System Failure. Essential jobs (like teachers) are treated like crap, and jobs that make CEOs and Owner rich, pay well, along with our issue of 1% worship.

I have said all along that Capitalism is going to fail us.

The decades-long fight with big tobacco should have been a huge red flashing light to warn us that our feudocapitalist system was already a massive failure. Lincoln Savings & Loan. Bear Stearns. A plague of patent squatter lawsuits. 99-year copyrights. Brutal rent prices. The list just goes on and on. Our economy is deeply broken, with cracks that I have seen growing perilously for decades.
