Listened to an interview with a DEA agent who worked with LAX TSA in the past, not sure how long ago, but it was after 9/11. They discovered that screeners were letting drugs and guns go through for as little as a $200 bribe. And that was just one airport. Reminds me of a documentary I watched on security theater, giving the illusion that people are safe when in reality a lot of bad shit can still happen.
