Not a big gamer but this looks interesting and along the lines of game play I usually like.

I am reminded of Bad Mojo (1996) where you get to experience life as a cockroach. This is a step up. 
The player is cast as Roger Samms, an entomologist planning to embezzle money from a research grant to escape his sordid life above an abandoned bar. An accident with his mother's enchanted locket unleashes the bad mojo, turning him into a cockroach.
And I see Bad Mojo Redux is on sale at Steam for $2.

Oh yeah…that one was from Kafka Games, I think.
I wanted to buy that game since I first found it one one of those old PC Gamer demo disks back in the day. For some reason, I never ended up committing to it.
...the intro movie for it is the most 90's thing you will ever see. It's got the whole spiel. Goofy overacting, liberal use of fisheye lenses, and cheesy CG. It's awesome!
Not to highjack the cat game thread, but if wanting to play a roach game I’d recommend Joe’s Apartment (movie) as a primer.
