A lawyer for the far-right Oath Keepers extremist group has been charged with conspiracy in connection with the Jan. 6, 2021, attack at the U.S. Capitol, authorities said Thursday.
Kellye SoRelle — general counsel for the antigovernment group — was arrested in Texas on charges including conspiracy to obstruct the certification of President Joe Biden’s electoral college victory, the Justice Department said.

From Yahoo News: "While those involved in the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol have been widely denounced by politicians on either side of the aisle, as well as condemned by the American justice system, Donald Trump says he would consider pardoning them if elected again. What's more, the former president said this week he is financially supporting some of the rioters."

First of all, I doubt the last bit about him providing financial support for some of the rioters. That would be very unTrump-like.

Second, a question for the GOP, some of whom were cowering behind doors on Jan. 6 for fear of their lives: Has he gone far enough now?

And yesterday a federal judge ordered that Sen. Lindsey Graham must testify before a Georgia grand jury investigating election interference, including conversations he had with the Georgia Sec of State regarding dismissing ballots.
