RIP Peter Scolari (Bosom Buddies, Evil) dies at 66

I remember seeing this guy on Bosom Buddies and thinking it was a shame he never quite reached the heights of his co-star, Tom Hanks. But it does sound like he had a busy career.

I just saw him on TV last night. As I’ve mentioned, my grandson and I have been bingeing Gotham, where Scolari played the crooked, thoroughly dislikable Police Commissioner Loeb…quite a change from the goofball he portrayed on Bosom Buddies.

I recently looked him up when we were watching Evil, I had a moment, "Bishop Marx ... is that Henry / Hildegard?" I remember him pretty well from Newhart too, he was excellent in Evil, I guess that's probably his last performance.
