So sad. .
I think most of those that lost their life were young.

I was watching a video couple days ago from South Korea that had a bunch of people jam packed in a wave pool, and thought to myself, that's not safe at all. And now this happens. They need some serious event crowd control over there.

The death toll is up to 150 (and sadly will likely continue to rise).

It’s absolutely tragic how young most of these people were. Stampedes are so dangerous. Things like this just are not supposed to happen. Especially not to a bunch of 20 year olds on a city street in a first world country.

My sympathies to everyone affected by this remarkably horrific accident.

And my respect to the first responders involved. No one ever signs up for the job thinking they’ll have to deal with a mass causality event of this scale.
