The government wants a police state option

Between militarization of our police over decades and slow moving or complete blocking of any kind of meaningful police reform I have to conclude the government wants a police state option, especially if civil unrest inches any closer to the porches of the rich. And if you think this option is just wanted by those on the right, the left would also love to use it against militia types on the right.

This also goes along with painting those with economic problems as criminals, be it not returning to shit jobs for shit pay or doing actual criminal acts out of economic desperation. There’s no limit on what poverty related issues our government won’t try to solve with incarceration.

The right-wingers that rail about their freedoms leave that “principle” behind when it comes to black people peacefully marching in the streets of cities they will likely never visit.
