Toshiba has fallen so far from grace. They used to be one of the largest manufacturers of electronics in the world, but nowadays, they really only manufacture hard drives and such. Just a few years ago, they used to sell all kinds of stuff (personal computers, televisions, etc). One of their big losses came in the form of the HD DVD format, which I've already discussed at length in a thread of its own.

Somebody created an in-depth YouTube video about their downfall. I would highly recommend watching it if you're interested.

Yeah, in addition to the HD-DVD player I just posted about, we had a terrific Toshiba television, it was a DLP rear projection and I want to say it lasted 7, 8 years, maybe even a little longer[?]. We kind of migrate our TVs around, they start in the main TV room, then our bedroom, maybe the landing room if they're still kicking and this one made it to the latter :D
