This was close to being done, it's too bad Trump jumped in and kneecapped it. Hopefully, if Dems win the election, they'll be able to get something with teeth passed.
  • President Donald Trump said he instructed his administration’s negotiators to stop coronavirus stimulus negotiations with Democrats until after the Nov. 3 election.
  • House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin had talked in recent days as they pushed to strike a relief deal.
  • The economy is still struggling under the weight of coronavirus-related shutdowns as millions of Americans have not returned to work.

Between this & wanting to appeal Section 230, 45 is at least abandoning the pretense of his actions as president is anything but for himself.

Is he now trying to lose the election?
They were actually making ground that would've pissed both sides off, that's how you know it probably would've been successful lol. There is nothing Trump hasn't burned down in his term.

That and if Barr & Co can complete their machinations, having a stacked Supreme Court to decide the election is of more importance to 45, than a stimulus for the rest of the country.

The ONE thing that he had, was the market wasn't awful. Is he is trying to make his election a level 10 in difficulty?
As I said, 45 is showing you of what's most important to him. Forcing social media partners to allow him say whatever he wants when he wants, and having a stacked Supreme Court in the hopes we revisit Bush V Gore. After the election handed to him by the Supreme Court of his choosing, he can go back to blaming Pelosi & Democrats & ANTIFA, for the market being down, no stimulus, and pretend the virus has passed.

Apparently it is back on again?

White House to propose $1.8tn relief package to House Democrats

The White House is proposing a $1.8 trillion coronavirus relief package in negotiations with House speaker Nancy Pelosi, its largest offer yet that is seemingly an attempt to close the gap between Democrats’ desired $2.2 trillion trillion package and the Republicans $1 trillion proposal.

…a 180-degree turn after the White House said that “negotiations are off” on Wednesday.

So bizarre.

Satire is almost dead with this administration (I was about to write "regime").
I've heard comedians say that they have a hard time writing jokes about him because that typically relies on making something out to be more farcical than it is, but Trump is already that extreme so they have nowhere to go.
