Two very long articles discussing Trump's plan to use Schedule F executive order to gut the federal bureaucracy.

It's much much worse even if Trump runs and loses. The machinery is still there to make it work no matter who gets in office at some point. It sure feels like the Trumplicans are trying to force us into a Civil War no matter what we want. And they've been wanting a Civil War ever since Gingrich in 1995 destroyed the Congressional norms.

he already attempted it in his usual stupid fashion. look at the losers and flunkies and conmen he put in change and how many people he fired and left slots vacant. or put temps in that ever got approved. it would be 10 times worse of course it work. look at old Betsy. good example of someone that wanted to gut what she was in change of.

This time, it looks like he's getting serious. Different types in charge and more efforts at weeding out the people who aren't totally committed.

Hopefully, the bumbling continues. Long hope, though. If other people run and not TFG, this could be overwhelming.

Imagine 50,000 workers getting fired every time we get a new president?

This “Schedule F” appears to be blatantly unconstitutional, overruling employment protections created by Congress.

Sadly, this garbage ”Supreme” Court has no problem blocking some legal executive actions, while allowing others to go through, based ONLY on which president put them into action.

I have a feeling there will be a serious constitutional crisis in the near future.

A backgrounder by Heather Cox Richardson about Schedule F and the Pendleton Civil Service Act, creating the Civil Service detached from political whims, which Trump wants to dismantle.

Un-constitutional in the sense that TFG would do something against statute law passed by Congress and failing "he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed"
