Whole Paycheck (in Canada) bans poppies

Ok, this is baffling.

Any ideas here? Individual-ONE bollixed up the hundredth anniversary of Armistice Day by being a whiny child afraid of the rain. Are they trying not to remind us of that?

Some people think only of opium when they think of poppies. Some think only of bagels. (Mmm....poppy seed.) Some are totally unaware of the deeper meaning of the poppy, Flanders Field, or Armistice Day.
