More proof the economy is chugging along if you ask me. This is what thieves are up to. Radio tower theft is one of the first signs of a healthy economy. It’s basic Bidenomics.

We aren’t quite at Switzerland level, with jewelry store theft. Not jewelry theft, but entire jewelry stores missing.

It reminds me of long time ago during my childhood just after the fall of the Soviet Union when somebody stole the elevator motor from our 10-story house. The motor was located at the top floor, just under the roof. They had to have carried it down the narrow staircase since there was no other route (and no noise - it happened at night and nobody noticed anything). I have no idea how much these things weight.

But, is that on a par with stealing half a mile of road? The thief said no one uses that road anymore, so he took the pavement and sold it. As to who would buy big chunks of conrcrete and asphalt, well, I guess a determined person can find a buyer for just about anything.
