Newegg Under Fire After Reselling Faulty Motherboards

Newegg did end up fixing its policies, but for a while, this was a massive controversy. It turned me away from Newegg completely. Ever since then, I've had zero trust in them.

Never happened to me. I have, however, gotten clearly-just-returned-broken stuff from Fry’s and Amazon (though mostly through third-party sellers).

I prefer B&H when possible, but when a drive or something is on sale at Newegg I don’t hesitate to buy it there if it is cheaper there.
