It's great they were found guilty of their obvious grift, but the penalties sure are low. Many people have gone to prison for far less. Weisselberg is on paid leave. In order to show he's learned his lesson, Trump will probably grant him a giant bonus check - off the books of course, because the guy learns nothing and doubles-down on everything he's accused of.
Nevertheless, its another legal knock against Trump, and this will probably bolster the NY AG's case against the company. Getting hit with a quarter-billion dollar fine and unable to operate a business in NY probably won't make the lives of any of the Trump family any easier. Good riddance.
