He was 101. Although he had a successful career as a producer, he'll always be remembered as the creator of All in the Family. I remember watching it when it first came out and being surprised by the topics the show tackled and what the characters did and said, particularly Archie Bunker. I've often wondered how Archie would react in the current political climate.
