Dating myself but I was a PC/networking tech in those days and Y2K compliance was a huge deal with a lot of manual work on systems to ensure it. Of course it turned out not be a big deal but the uncertainty freaked out a lot of people.

I tested a ton of bug fixes for Y2K. We had additional staffing in the office, and were ready to be called in for emergencies.
