I’m going to put it out there that maybe at least partially Cannon is a coward who doesn’t want to be the target of violent MAGA ruling over the most slam dunk political case against Trump. I don’t mean politically motivated. I mean MAGA couldn’t give less of a shit about his cases dealing with business or his treatment of women. They’re fine with his behavior there. When it comes to the cases dealing with his illegal political activities they see it as direct deep state election interference. Cannon would probably prefer to not be the first case to drop that hammer.

If the judge doesn’t address the gag order violation, that will be a shame and prove the two-tiered justice system that Trump correctly states exists but lies about not benefiting from it. If he’s not sent to Rikers for a couple of days to think about it, we’re already seeing injustice.

Trump is in court this morning. The prosecutors don't seem to be leaving any stone unturned, and indeed, have already told Judge Merchan they think Trump violated the gag order by referring to Cohen and Daniels on his shitty cult social platform.
Trump is in a different world right now, and the mentions in the live updates imply his demeanor is showing it.

Proving once again these squirming MAGAts have not a clue about justice or patriotism.
It's literally one of the least patriotic things you can do. How about going in with a presumption of innocence and letting the facts lead where they may?
Apparently, Judge Merchan has delayed ruling on whether to fine Trump for violating the gag order, so the most we can expect is a meaningless financial penalty. What would it take for Trump to be jailed, as anyone else in his position would be? Does he have to actively call for the judge or one of the witnesses to be attacked? What would happen if Trump posted the above on his platform?
