Some weird thing happens to me when I see a piece of Americana. In this case it was in a restaurant attached to an Inn at Stockbrige MA. This factoid was about the first private toll road between Albany NY and Great Barrington MA, and I had to chase down the historical fact.

This is part of a wind turbine site in the Canary Islands. Not sure exactly what it does, had to hold the camera above a fence.
